BETHESDA, Md. – On the initiative of young adult members of the Washington branch of Plast Ukrainian Scouting Organization, a group of carolers (koliadnyky) on Sunday, January 10, brought Christmas carols and holiday cheer to wounded veterans of Ukraine’s anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine who are being treated at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Md. The Plast members were joined by friends who are members of the Ukrainian American Youth Association.
